The server(the owner’s son) was so kind as he answered all our questions, explained how to eat everything, and gave us interesting information about the country and culture. The food was delicious and the service exceptional. ”

“ We came by for lunch -- what a great deal at this price point, including salad, soup, main, and dessert! The salad and soup portions were generous. We especially enjoyed the hearty kharcho (beef and rice soup). The khinkali's dough was not thin, but was tender and tasty, and went well with the seasoned meat inside. The cheeseboat was brimming with cheese and the egg was cooked just right. The dessert (custard donut?) was freshly fried, toasty, and not too sweet. Service was friendly and well-paced, and quite attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and the decoration was super cute, all the way down to the khinkhali-shaped salt and pepper shakers. (We learned that "tamada" is the toastmaster at a Georgian feast who has control over the table.) ”

“ What a cute spot! We came for lunch and the service was so quick and incredible. We got the khinkali and khachapuri. Both were unbelievably delicious, not to mention the warm bread with dips and fermented cabbage they brought out for starters. The khinkali were so juicy and flavourful, the broth just poured out, absolutely phenomenal. Our lovely waitress mixed in the egg for the khachapuri for us, it was very creamy and delicious. I must add the atmosphere was nice, only thing was that it was humid inside but it was very hot today so I wonder if it had anything to do with that. Side note, the salt and pepper shakers were so cute! Looking forward to coming back for this affordable and yummy place! ”

This is a small family restaurant, and the food is authentic. I enjoyed the steak and mushrooms dish. We will come back with reinforcements. ”
